Experience

Susannah Antamoro de Céspedes is a practising lawyer at the Geneva Bar.

Very early in her career, she became active in various international associations of lawyers (International Association of Young Lawyers - AIJA of which she is vice-president of honour); International Union of Lawyers (UIA); International Bar Association (IBA); American Bar Association (ABA) where she participated as a speaker on many committees. She has thus woven an important international network.

She has attended several specialized courses provided by the Swiss Federation of Lawyers or other bodies, particularly in the field of Negotiation; Alternative Dispute Resolution and Estate Law and Estate Planning.

She has represented parties in international criminal trials.

She sat on the Board of Directors of 2 well-known local firms (faucets manufacture and electrical assembly) representing a group of shareholders during restructuring.

Her passion for aviation (aircraft and helicopter pilot's IFR license) naturally led her to deal with air law cases; accidents (SR 111); purchase-sale and leasing and operating agreements and aircraft freezes.

She has also carried out numerous freezes of assets in payment of international transactions (trading); execution of foreign arbitral awards or judgments or in art matters as well as tracing of diverted or stolen assets.

Finally, she enjoys an extensive experience in international inheritance law and all related criminal and civil proceedings in all jurisdictions.

• White collar crime and mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, representing plaintiffs in tracing and recovery of assets.
